Torque wrenches with deactivatable torque function
The Wera Click-Torque wrenches, with their robust release mechanism when the set torque value is reached, already have a long history of success.
Now available in this range: Click-Torque Lock wrenches. “Lock” means the torque function can be deactivated, so the tools can be used for working without torque. This saves time and hassle!
The name Click-Torque was chosen for two reasons and fits twice as well:
1. Work-Stop-Click
Work-Stop-Click describes the audible and tactile mechanism that is triggered every time the set torque is reached. At the click, the screwdriving process should be stopped to avoid applying too much force.
2. Extra-Click
The Wera Tool Rebels, who always like to challenge existing standards, also equipped the Click-Torque wrenches with an extra click, which is released when setting the torque.
The torque value is set by turning the handle, and is displayed on two scales. The main scale shows the selected Nm or lbf ft value within the tightening range. The fine scale adjusts the set value to normative pre-set values. A clear sound is made for each value displayed on the scale. This audible and tactile feedback indicates when the desired value has been reached, and the wrench can be locked. The scale values are clearly visible, allowing quick and safe settings.
The new Click-Torque Lock wrenches are suitable for clockwise operation. The R/L versions are suitable for clockwise and counterclockwise operation. The ratchet mechanism is fine-toothed with 45 teeth, and they have a small lever on the ratchet head to switch from tightening to loosening screw connections.
